Annual Food for Fines Program - November 10-22, 2014

Princeton Public Library is joining Jacobs Library (IVCC), LaSalle, Peru, Oglesby, Richard A. Mautino (Spring Valley), Putnam County, and Graves-Hume Libraries in supporting area food pantries. Between November 10 and 22, we will accept food donations toward the payment of library fines. Each food item pays $1.00 in fines up to 25 items per overdue library/patron card. Donated food is only for overdue fines (not lost/damaged books or other charges). Suggested food items include cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, peanut butter, Jell-O and tuna. For food safety, food must be in original, unopened packaging. Homemade items, perishable items or glass containers are not accepted.
